Old Timey Car Emerges from the 10th Circle of Hell



I <3 this shop's sign (advertisement?) on the corner of 14th and T or S in DC. I have no idea what the characters say or why the car seems to be emerging from a fiery pit.

    I think the car is being abducted by body snatching aliens. I also enjoy the checker board pattern randomly placed in the middle of the sign.

    yeah, the checkerboard is pretty sweet. It's visual vocabulary for "this car's gonna go fast so be warned.":D
